The Government consults on possible changes to the national
minimum wage rules on employer-provided accommodation in relation to students
who work part-time for their educational institution. The rules allow employers
that provide accommodation for workers to count it as a benefit in kind towards
payment of the national minimum wage, up to a specified limit. |
