On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we discuss s.159 of the Equality Act 2010, which permits positive action in recruitment and promotion. We are joined by special guest, employment law trainer and consultant editor, Darren Newman, who takes us through s.159, identifying possible problems with it, and the resulting uncertainties and legal risks for employers taking positive action. We also discuss the findings of the latest XpertHR survey on succession planning.
