Employers scaled back their use of temporary workers in the run up to
the introduction of the Agency Workers Regulations, according to research by the
CBI and recruitment consultancy Harvey Nash.
The CBI Employment Trends Survey, which surveyed 462 UK companies and was
conducted between August and September 2011, shortly before the introduction of
the Agency Workers Regulations on 1 October, found that 20% of employers were
planning to reduce their use of temporary workers. |
