XpertHR benefits and allowances survey 2012: subsistence and other allowances

Employers in the public sector are more likely than those in the private sector to offer their staff allowances to cover the cost of meals or overnight stays during the course of their work, but they are also more likely to keep control over the cost of such expenses by setting a limit on the amount that employees can claim.
