Employment law manual update: new chapters on data protection, public interest disclosures and continuous employment


The XpertHR employment law manual has been enhanced by the addition of new chapters on data protection, public interest disclosures (whistleblowing) and continuous employment. 

We have also made changes to the sections in these chapters to reflect changes that we will be making to the overall format of the employment law manual. We have added links to additional resources, such as relevant frequently asked questions, policies and documents and other useful XpertHR guidance, at the end of each subsection. This is to give subscribers easy access to further information relating to the specific subject being researched. For example, in the new section on data protection, at the end of the subsection on references, we have added, among others, links to a policy on giving references, our line manager briefing on providing and requesting references and our interactive Liveflo workflow on providing a reference on a former or current employee
