Podcast: Myths around maternity; and disability discrimination

TOPICS:
terms, conditions and employee rights working time and leave
working patterns
equal opportunities disability
sex
pregnancy and maternity discrimination

On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we discuss popular employment law myths around maternity. We also discuss the decision in Duckworth v British Airways plc ET/3304740/11, in which the employment tribunal found that British Airways plc's failure to transfer one of its cabin crew, whose disability meant that he could no longer undertake long-haul flying duties, to short-haul flights within a reasonable timescale amounted to a failure to make reasonable adjustments.

Presenter Jeya Thiruchelvam is joined by Clio Springer and Sarah Anderson. Edited and produced by Luke Smith.
