The XpertHR employment law manual has been enhanced by improvements to
the equality and human rights chapter.
- Pre-existing content relating to equal pay and human rights has been moved into this chapter making it easier to find.
We have also made changes to the sections in this chapter to
reflect changes that we are making to the overall format of the employment law
manual. We have added links to additional resources, such as relevant
frequently asked questions, policies and documents and other useful XpertHR
guidance, at the end of the subsections. This is to give subscribers easy
access to further information relating to the specific subject being
researched. For example, in the equal opportunities policies and monitoring section, at the end of the subsection on the advantages of an equal opportunities policy, we have added links to a number of our relevant model policies, for example the equal opportunities policy, dignity at work policy and diversity policy and procedure. In the
subsection on reasonable adjustments in the disability discrimination section, we have added a link to the relevant content in our good practice guide on disability. In
the section relating to
human rights and the subsection on the right to respect for private and family life, we have added a link to a frequently asked question that considers whether or not an employer is able to tape record a meeting with an employee to ensure that it has an accurate record of the meeting. |
