Clause wording: No further or alternative period of holiday leave will be granted if the employee is sick while on holiday. However, if the employee is prevented by sickness or injury from going on a planned holiday, or falls seriously ill or is injured while on holiday, the Employer may at its discretion treat some or all of the period booked as holiday as sick leave subject to the employee providing satisfactory medical evidence.
