Length of notice

Your employment may be terminated by either party giving to the other not less than [ ] months' written notice.

Pay in lieu

The Company may at its sole and absolute discretion pay to you basic salary and benefits (excluding bonus) in lieu of any required period of notice (subject to the deduction of such income tax and National Insurance as HM Revenue & Customs and the Contributions Agency may require).
