Clause wording: During any period of absence from work due to sickness or injury you will be entitled to sick pay calculated as follows: [insert sliding scale] subject to satisfactory evidence from a medical practitioner and inclusive of statutory sick pay. The Company may also deduct from these payments the amount of any social security benefits you may be entitled to receive.
