When to use this model discretionary sick pay entitlement contract clause

Use this model contract clause when drafting an employee's contract or particulars of employment.

Clause wording

Whilst it is the Employer's normal practice to maintain salary during an employee's absence on account of sickness or injury, any such payments are discretionary and are not paid as a right.
