Clause wording: The executive hereby warrants and represents to the Employer that he/she:

  • has submitted his/her resignation from all existing employments in accordance with the terms of such employments;
  • will not be in breach of his/her existing or former terms of employment whether express or implied or of any other obligation binding on him/her by reason of his/her entering into this agreement;
  • [does not require/has obtained] any visa or work permit to take up employment with the Employer.]

When to use this document

Use this document in a contract of employment for a senior member of staff, particularly where the employee was subject to a long notice period under a previous contract of employment or is likely to have been subject to restrictive covenants under his or her old contract.
