Clause wording: An employee dismissed by reason of redundancy will be entitled to receive notice of his/her dismissal in accordance with the terms of his/her contract of employment.

The Employer reserves the right to give an employee pay in lieu of notice at its entire discretion, in which case the employee will not be required to work out his/her notice period and employment will terminate on the date notice is given.
