Letter wording: The Company wishes to set up a consultation meeting with you [with a view to reaching agreement] about proposals for a reorganisation of [part of] the business, which may entail cost-cutting measures and staff reductions. In particular, we would like to consult you about ways of avoiding redundancies, reducing the numbers to be dismissed and mitigating the consequences of any dismissals that subsequently take place.
