Letter wording:
Further to the [proposed] termination of your employment [on [date] ], I am
writing to enclose copies of the compromise agreement relating to the
termination.
You must ensure that you have taken independent
legal advice in relation to the signing of the agreement from one of the
following groups of people:
- a legal representative;
- a trade union representative;
- an advice centre worker; or
- a person nominated by the Secretary of State in connection with the giving
of advice.
