Q89: How much is an employee who has been unable to work due to outside circumstances owed?

If an employee normally required to work on a particular day is prevented from working by circumstances outside his or her control and is consequently not paid his or her normal wages, he or she must be paid a guarantee payment of up to £21.20 per day. This is payable for a maximum of five days in any three-month period.
