Clause wording: Subject to the provisions below, this contract will be for a fixed term commencing on [ ] and terminating on [ ], at which time it will automatically expire unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and the Employer.

[Notwithstanding that this contract is for a fixed term, the Employer reserves the right at its entire discretion to terminate your employment at any time prior to the expiry of the fixed term defined above by giving you not less than [one week's/two weeks'/one month's] notice in writing.
