Use this model contract clause when setting up a fixed-term
contract with an employee that is to come to an end on a specified
date.
Subject to the provisions below, this contract
will be for a fixed term commencing on [date] and terminating on [date], at which time
it will automatically expire unless otherwise agreed in writing between you and
