When to use this model adoption leave contract clause

Use this model contract clause to cover the situation where an employee adopts a child to be placed with him or her for adoption before 5 October 2008 (or the child enters Great Britain before this date).

Clause wording

If the employee has any accrued but unused holiday entitlement before starting adoption leave, he/she will be required to take it prior to adoption leave commencing.
