Policy wording: The employee will continue to accrue holiday entitlement during the 26 weeks' ordinary maternity leave period. During additional maternity leave, entitlement to statutory annual holiday under the Working Time Regulations 1998 will continue to accrue, but all further contractual holiday entitlement [including entitlement to paid public holidays] will cease after the end of ordinary maternity leave and recommence only when the employee returns to work.
