Ordinary statutory paternity pay

An employee1 can receive ordinary statutory paternity pay for either one week or two consecutive weeks. The employee's average weekly earnings must be equal to or more than the lower earnings limit (£107 from 6 April 2012).

One or two weeks' ordinary statutory paternity pay £135.452
1 Paternity pay is available to a person of either sex in an adoption situation, and to the spouse, civil partner or partner of either sex of the biological mother of a child. 
2 Or 90% of average weekly earnings if this figure is less than £135.45.
