The Reserve Forces (Call-out and Recall)
(Financial Assistance) Regulations 2005 provide financial assistance to
employers that suffer financial loss as a result of the mobilisation of
reservists for service in the armed forces. The extent of the awards and the time limits for making a claim are set out below.

1 Unless the adjudication officer agrees to an extended period.
2 The training must be completed within six months of the employee's
return to employment, except where it is not available within this period, in
which case it must be completed within 12 months of the return to employment
and the employer must inform the adjudication officer within the initial
six-month period that the employee is to undertake the training.
