Employer payments signal hope for stakeholder plans

Our survey of 20 employers which have set up stakeholder pension plans shows that some make generous contributions, and suggests that employer contributions are making some impact on membership levels. The research also reveals that the requirement to designate a stakeholder scheme spurred on a number of organisations to widen eligibility for existing pension arrangements.
