This IRS survey looks at how employers are progressing with preparations for the imminent anti-ageism legislation, and finds that while the auditing of employment practices is proving to be a long haul for many organisations, some major changes are afoot.

Key points

Most of the 99 employers in the IRS survey are in favour of the age Regulations, which are due to come into force in October 2006, but more than one-third are concerned about the lack of clarity in the rules.
