Introduction to adoption rights and
benefits
This policy sets out the rights of employees who
adopt a child from overseas to statutory adoption leave and pay.
An employee who adopts a child from overseas and
has received 'official notification' in respect of that child is entitled to a
period of adoption leave provided that he/she has at least 26 weeks' continuous
service, ending with the week in which the official notification was received or
starting with the week in which his/her employment with the Company
began. |
