Over three-quarters of employers think that
the NHS is not operating in a way that provides them with adequate support to
manage sickness absence, according to a recent survey of 600 senior HR
professionals by healthcare company HSA1.
Employers are
pessimistic about the future health of employees - over one-third see the
health of the UK workforce deteriorating in the next five to 10 years and, of
those, 87% feel the workforce's morale and productivity will be badly affected
as a result. |
