One in 100 chose HR for the money but many regret career choice

One in every four HR practitioners regrets their choice of career to such an extent that, given the opportunity to start again, they would choose another profession, an IRS survey shows.

Early findings from a study of HR career paths and opportunities reveal that nearly half those surveyed (48.3%) have experienced barriers as they tried to establish their place in the profession, with the lack of structured opportunities for advancement the biggest problem.
