SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS
Occupational Pensions has identified a total of 49 court
cases involving pensions or retirement issues where judgment was given in 1996,
or where the case first came to light during the year.
There were 11 High Court judgments on appeals from determinations of
the Pensions Ombudsman, and at least six further appeals to the Court of Appeal
were pending at the year-end. |
