SUMMARY OF KEY POINTS
Occupational Pensions has, as usual, been monitoring court
and tribunal cases concerning pensions and retirement and has identified 38
cases where the decision was given in 1999, or where the case was first reported
during the year, plus eight criminal prosecutions.
The number of cases heard in the courts that started life as
complaints to the Pensions Ombudsman was 11, much the same as in each of the
three previous years. |
