Introduction

The organisation has developed this policy to manage its obligations to maintain the mental health and wellbeing of all staff. It covers:

  • the organisation's commitment to helping employees;
  • the business case for fulfilling this commitment with an employee assistance programme (EAP);
  • the services provided by the EAP;
  • eligibility for the EAP;
  • the process for accessing the EAP;
  • confidentiality within the EAP;
  • marketing the EAP service;
  • the provision of management information by the EAP provider; and
  • measures evaluating the EAP.
