The UK’s largest engineering consultant has improved its retention of senior managers since it started treating them like graduates.

Atkins is taking senior managers on short retreats and giving them in-depth interviews to clarify their career goals and ambitions, the firm’s group HR development director Brian Fitzgerald told Personnel Today.
