Most people fear the end is nigh for company pensions

Most people in the UK believe company pension schemes will close to all employees following recent tax changes for high earners.

A poll of 2,016 adults found that seven in 10 think company pension schemes could close to all employees as a result of the tax increase on pension contributions made by those earning £150,000 a year or more: 45% agreed that the higher 50% rate "is a bad idea".
