XpertHR named business media brand of the year at 2009 PPA awards

XpertHR, the UK's most comprehensive online source of legal compliance, good practice and benchmarking information, has been named business media brand of the year in the prestigious PPA awards, the trade association for UK publishers of consumer, customer and business media.

The judging panel praised XpertHR for building a substantial portfolio of print, online and face-to-face products, spanning weekly and monthly magazines, awards, events, a community website - www.personneltoday.com - and a subscription-based online service.

The judges said: "XpertHR showed a radical approach to moving the brand to meet the dynamics of its market - a compelling and impressive example of brand diversification."

XpertHR group editor David Shepherd, said: "I'm absolutely delighted that we've won yet another coveted award and gained further recognition from our peers in the publishing industry.

"It is great to be part of a winning team producing such a successful, fast growing portfolio of services. Our customers are feeling the benefit as our growth has enabled us to fund major investments in enhancing and adding to our services, and I'm looking forward to announcing even more dramatic enhancements to the XpertHR service soon."

The 1920s-themed awards took place at London's Grosvenor House hotel and were hosted by comedian Dara O'Briain.
