Podcast: Pay trends in April 2011; and maternity pay

On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we discuss: pay awards agreed in the first quarter of 2011; what they reveal about whether employers are conceding to pressure to award higher increases; and the outlook for pay awards for the rest of 2011. We also discuss the findings of the XpertHR maternity and paternity pay survey 2011, which looked at: how many employers offer enhanced maternity pay; what they offer and to whom; and how the right to additional paternity leave and pay has been received by employers.
