Podcast: Recruitment and disability discrimination

On this week's XpertHR Weekly, we consider employers' responsibilities when a disabled person applies for a job. We discuss the duty to make reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process and pre-employment medical checks. We also look at how the employment tribunal dealt with these issues in Corry v Merseyrail Electric 2002 Ltd ET/2400795/2015, in which it was found that the employer did not commit disability discrimination when it withdrew a conditional job offer after health and safety concerns over a job applicant's epilepsy.

Presenter Sarah Anderson is joined by Bar Huberman. Edited and produced by Claire Scullin.
