Helen Wilsenach is a partner at Bowman Gilfillan and is based in their Johannesburg office. Since being admitted as an attorney and notary public, Helen has specialised in employment law and has 10 years' experience in this area of the law.
She advises mainly employers (both local and international) on a range of issues, including the employment consequences of commercial transactions, restructurings, dismissals, employment contracts, policies and procedures, training, employment equity and discrimination. Helen has carried out training on behalf of various private and public sector clients and has appeared in various employment tribunals and courts.
In addition, and with the assistance of Bowman Gilfillan's large network of firms in Africa and the firm's own offices in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, she often assists clients with obtaining, and coordinating, employment-related advice in relation to countries throughout Africa.
Helen holds BA and LLB (cum laude) degrees from Rhodes University.
