Nicholas Furlan

Nicholas has practiced as a barrister at the New South Wales bar since 2007. His practice includes trial and appellate work, and he advises on a variety of commercial law matters.

He is briefed in a wide range of employment matters, including restraint of trade disputes, disputes involving the protection of confidential information, general contract disputes (including termination matters) and Fair Work Act matters (including general protections matters).

Before coming to the bar, Nicholas worked as a solicitor specialising in commercial litigation and employment law including at Freehills (now Herbert Smith Freehills) and Baker & McKenzie. He also worked as a tipstaff and researcher for judges of the Supreme Court of New South Wales (including the Court of Appeal). Nicholas was admitted to practice as in New South Wales in December 2001.
