Nick Throp is the co-founder of like minds, specialists in creative HR and reward communication, which he started in 2005. Prior to that, he was a European partner in the communication practice of Mercer Human Resource Consulting. He has more than 30 years' experience in corporate communication, specialising in pension, benefit and reward communication for the last 20 years. His core competencies are in strategic communication planning, concept creation and copywriting.
He is a frequent speaker at industry events and regularly appears in the specialist press. His work for Asda, EMAP and JPMorgan has won industry awards, and he wrote the chapter on benefit communication for the Gower Handbook of Employee Communication.
