The most difficult recruitment task...

IRS surveyRecruitment is rarely easy. Where to advertise? Who to interview? Who to select? And, obviously, how to make sure that all this doesn't cost the earth (subscription required).

These issues can be even starker when recruiting to senior management roles. Finding the right person to successfully lead a department or organisation is no joke. Get it wrong and there can be serious consequences.

Seniority is no guarantee of honesty. Some might also think that Worldcom having Bernie Ebbers as their Chief Executive didn't do them any favours either. And it's just possible that at least one school has a few hiring regrets.

These are, of course, extreme examples. There are some things that even the best recruitment process cannot detect.

So what is the best way to go about recruiting senior managers and directors? Complete our survey and we'll tell you more. Taking part in IRS's research into senior management recruitment (opens new window) will enable you to share our findings of current practice, key issues and emerging themes. Everyone who takes part in our confidential survey will receive a complimentary copy of our research report as soon as it is published.
