If you're lucky enough to receive an IRS email bulletin you may have noticed a new addition to the options on the right-hand side of the page. Sharing benchmarking data is nothing new to IRS - take a look at any of the 15 pieces of research that we've already completed this year. What is new is the ability to see what surveys we're currently running.
Those with a practical interest in pay, recruitment, equal opportunities, occupational health or just a general interest in employee relations can take the opportunity, should they wish, to find out what other organisations are doing by participating in one of our surveys. Needless to say, all participants receive a complimentary copy of the relevant report as soon as it becomes available.
Here's a quick overview of the research that we're conducting at the moment:
Graduate Recruitment 2007/08
Recruiting and retaining the best graduates has never been more difficult. To help in this task, IRS is conducting its 18th annual graduate recruitment survey. If your organisation recruits graduates, taking part in this online survey will provide you with the latest information about effective techniques, trends, current salaries and other key information.
Pay Prospects 2007/08
Pay settlements were in the headlines at the beginning of this year, with concerns that pay deals would rocket beyond 4% widely reported in the press. Those employers who had access to the 2006 IRS pay prospects survey, however, knew that employers had predicted only a modest increase in pay settlements, which indeed turned out to be the case. Can you afford to be without this vital intelligence on future pay cost trends? All participants will be entered into a prize draw for one of three £25 Marks & Spencer vouchers.
Travel Health
Occupational Health Review is undertaking a survey of UK business travel health policies and practices and the role of occupational health service providers in ensuring that risks are managed effectively. We would be very grateful if you could take part. As a small thank-you for taking part in our research, MASTA will give a travel first aid kit to the first four participants drawn out of a hat. This survey is open to both in-house and consulting occupational health, or travel health, advisers.
HR's Role in Managing Change
HR has a central role to play when organisations go through major structural change. IRS Employment Review is conducting a survey which will allow you to compare your organisation's experience of HR's role in managing change with that of other employers.
Further details about current, past and forthcoming surveys can all be found here. This page is regularly updated so please do bookmark the page and check back whenever you like.
