A guide to working with trade unions

Trade unions can have an important role to play in the employer-employee relationship, but how do you go about setting up an effective working arrangement?

An IRS survey will provide these answers, and more. To help us develop a comprehensive picture of trade union agreements, facilities and dynamics in UK workplaces, please complete our short survey.

Specific topics covered by the survey include:
  • Types of recognition agreements;
  • Topics covered by recognition agreements;
  • Procedural issues in recognition agreements;
  • Facilities for trade union representatives;
  • Working relationships with trade unions; and
  • Collective disputes.

All respondents will be sent a free copy of the survey findings when they are published later in the year.
