We held a user group meeting at our Sutton offices earlier this week for participants in the CELRE Computer Staff Salary Survey.
The meeting provided a useful opportunity to find out how reward specialists are using the pay data CELRE collects, and to outline our plans for CELRE's online Job Pricing service now that it has become part of the XpertHR Group.
It was also a great chance to use their expertise to help shape our November survey, which is now in preparation.
There is a reasonably full account of the user group meeting on the CELRE website, so I won't repeat that here.
However, if you employ IT staff and are not currently a participant in the CELRE Computer Staff Salary Survey, you might like to think about signing up.
Data is updated twice a year, and the May 2008 report covered 66,843 jobs in 572 organisations, so this is a substantial and highly usable salary survey.
