XpertHR was named business website of the year 2008 last night at the Association of Online Publishers awards - the online publishing industry oscars.
The judges commented: "As a great example of the success of a paid subs model, XpertHR.co.uk has had a tremendous year."
XpertHR's nomination focused on last year's site redesign, improvements to site searching, traffic growth, market share, competitive positioning, new business sales and renewals, customer service and satisfaction, and included glowing testimonials from customers.
We know our customers like and value our service, and in the end their opinion is all that really matters. That said, it is always very gratifying to get recognition from our peers in the online publishing industry, especially in a record year for entries to the awards and very stiff competition from some seriously impressive business websites.
XpertHR's parent company Reed Business Information, picked up three other top awards on the night, including the ultimate accolade of business publisher of the year.
Winners in other categories included Guardian News and Media, the Financial Times, Channel 4, News Group Newspapers and BSkyB. See the winners list in full on the AOP website.
