XpertHR's official pay benchmarking service updated

XpertHR's official pay data pages (subscription required) have been updated with the latest pay data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date benchmarking resource for pay practitioners.

These pages offer detailed breakdowns of pay data drawn from the newly-published Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) 2008 from the ONS.

The ASHE data provide a valuable resource for tracking year-on-year movements in key pay issues, with the findings on gender pay differentials always drawing particular attention. ASHE 2008 reveals that the equal pay gap widened to 12.8% over the year to April 2008.

Our official pay data pages include a detailed look at the headline findings of ASHE 2008, alongside separate breakdowns by occupation, industry and region (subscription required for each).

IRS Pay and Benefits Bulletin will be publishing its detailed analysis of the ASHE 2008 data on Friday 5 December 2008.

  • Has your organisation recently carried out an annual pay review? If so, and if it has now been settled, please get in touch so that we can add your organisation's pay award to the IRS database.
