Gay man wins discrimination claim against pub (on the Daily Telegraph website) A homosexual man has won his sexual orientation discrimination claim against the company that runs the pub in which he worked. He was required to put up a sign outside the pub saying "This is not a gay pub" and to reprimand a homosexual couple for their overtly romantic behaviour.
£4,000 in damages for breach of contract (on the Press and Journal website) Bosses of a bar in Fraserburgh in Scotland have been ordered to pay a former employee nearly £4,000 in damages for breach of contract.
Ealing Council ordered to pay £63,000 for unfair dismissal (on the Inside Housing website) A former accommodation manager for the homeless at Ealing council has won her unfair dismissal claim.
Bishop who had affair loses unfair dismissal claim (on the This is Total Essex website) A bishop who admitted that he had an affair has lost his claim for unfair dismissal.
