IRS/XpertHR trade unions survey 2010: Why it pays to benchmark your relations with trade unions

With the British Airways strike ongoing (external website), strike action at BT in prospect (external website), and the possibility of a summer of discontent, it is timely for UK employers to take stock of their relations with trade unions. Taking part in the 2010 IRS/XpertHR survey of union recognition arrangements will enable you to benchmark your organisation's practice against both comparators and competitors.
In return for taking part in this timely, confidential survey (which closes tomorrow, Friday 28 May 2010), you will receive a complimentary copy of the resulting survey report when it is published.
Additionally, XpertHR benchmarking subscribers will have full access to all results data generated by this survey, enabling them to drill down into our findings and create their own bespoke reports on key aspects of their organisation's relationship with its recognised trade unions.
Complete benchmarking data from the previous trade union survey by IRS for XpertHR (conducted in 2008) can be accessed here (XpertHR benchmarking subscription required).

XpertHR of course offers a range of resources for employers on dealing with unions, including the following:
