Bar Huberman:

I have recently commissioned a good practice guide on equal pay for the XpertHR good practice section, due for publication in early 2011. This will guide employers on the steps that they can take to minimise the gender pay gap. For example, they should check policies and practices that determine pay, such as starting salaries, to ensure that new starters are paid equal pay for work of equal value. We will also give helpful advice to employers to ensure that their pay structures are geared towards equal pay, for example by making them as transparent as possible.
