What's your HR resolution for 2012?

2012.bmpDo you have an HR resolution for 2012?

For many of us, the end of the 2011 working year is now hoving into view, and 2012 looms.

The end of the year can be a time both for reflection, and for looking ahead.

As 2011 draws to a close, I'd love to find out XpertHR readers' hopes and expectations for their working life in 2012. What will be the main challenges you expect to face in 2012 (whether in the world of HR work, or elsewhere in your life)? And how do you resolve to deal with them?

So please tell us your HR resolution for 2012, by leaving a comment via the box below, or get in touch via Twitter (please use the #HRResolution12 tag), Google+ or LinkedIn.

Your HR resolution for 2012 could be anything: something you're planning to do (or to do more or less of); something you want to see happen; something you want to avoid seeing or doing ever again; or something else entirely! It can be serious or silly, a single word or a veritable dissertation.

And a special bonus question: If you posted your HR resolution for 2011 to my post from this time last year, please let me know how you think you got on in 2011.

I look forward to hearing from you! And all the best for a happy and prosperous 2012.

UPDATE 1 (Friday 16 December 2011): Kate Griffiths-Lambeth has contributed her HR resolution for 2012 via Twitter: "To help my HR colleagues to learn and grow, so that we can take HR to the next level."

Many thanks to Kate for her kind permission to reproduce her tweet here!
