Even though I'm not "technically" a UK HR professional (although I'd love that !!), I am an HR Lifer.
It has been wonderful to see how the profession has evolved and continues to change. I hope people read this to understand that there is true merit in being a "lifer."
I hope to have many more years "doing my time" in this great profession !!

Interesting results. I'm also, like Steve, an HR lifer. And, most days, wouldn't trade it for anything.

Thank you for the comments!
@Steve I'm sure you'd be warmly welcomed to the UK HR profession, if you ever felt like upping sticks and moving to the UK! Our survey necessarily focused on the UK HR profession, but I am extremely interested to find out how our findings relate to people's experiences of the HR profession in other countries. Glad to hear you're enjoying "doing your time," too... : )
@Robin As with Steve, I'm very pleased to hear that being an "HR lifer" suits you, and let's hope you're never tempted to trade it for anything else.
