Author Tom Koulopoulos presents the opening keynote address. According to the #HRTechConf agenda, " Tom will explore what The Cloud really is and what it means for today's employers. And why taking the human element into account as you shape and execute your HR technology strategy matters more than ever." Koulopoulos tellTs the searchFinancialApplications site that "the trend I'm going to talk about, which I see as a defining one, is this back end of HR. What happens after the exit interview -- that last day a person is on the job? The answer has typically been they're going to get another job and then they're someone else's HR responsibility." - How HR Can Drive The New Social Business

In the closing keynote speech, author Marcia Conner argues that "HR leaders are in the catbird seat [i.e. in an enviable position] to demonstrate how people and organizations can be business-minded and interconnected at the same time."
HR analytics will also be a hot topic at this year's #HRTechConf, says Bersin & Associates CEO Josh Bersin. The searchFinancialApplications reports that Bersin says:
HR as a business area is [lagging] behind marketing, sales and supply chain in terms of analytics, but the amount of data is huge. Lots of the talent management companies are releasing analytics tools that will allow you to instantly look at your workforce.#HRTechConf 2012: Jason Averbook's pick of the best!
