John Manos has had wide-ranging experience as a technical researcher, writer, editor and publisher over 30 years. Since working as a senior health and safety editor at Industrial Relations Services in the 1980s, he has worked as a freelance editor and journalist for clients such as the European Agency for Health and Safety at Work, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions, LexisNexis Butterworths and Reed Business Information. He edited the IRS journal Health and Safety Information Bulletin for 10 years, was founding editor of Occupational Health Review (OHR) in 1986 and wrote and published European Safety Newsletter between 1992 and 1998.
